Y/T Strainer (3)

Y Strainers are most commonly used in pressurized lines, gas or liquid, but also be used in suction or vacuum conditions. They are intended for application where small amount of solid particulate are expected, and where clean out will be infrequent.
Tee (T) Strainers for straight flow type are installed at 90o bend piping. The cylindrical element housed in the body can be taken out to horizontal center line by removing the cover.
